Maxitrak Portable Unit
The MAX3000 Portable is a portable version of
the MAX3000 IVU (In-Vehicle Unit).
It is a fully functional MAX3000 mounted in a briefcase for in-vehicle
and portable operation. It can also be mounted in a backpack, suitcase,
etc.
The MAX3000 Portable is a modified MAX3000
IVU, designed to operate using a vehicle's cigarette lighter power supply
for highly mobile applications continually using different vehicles.
It can also operate using the IVU’s internal, re-chargeable Lithium-ion
battery. The functions are
identical to the MAX3000 IVU.
The MAX3000 Portable is ideal for
applications where the IVU cannot be permanently mounted.
The IVU may therefore be moved from vehicle to vehicle as required.
The MAX3000 Portable is also suitable for surveillance or personal
security applications.
