Maxitrak In-Vehicle Unit

The MAX3000 In-Vehicle Unit (IVU) represents the latest generation of Maxitrak's IVU’s. It uses state-of-the-art components and the very latest wireless communications technologies. The in-vehicle equipment consists of a single In-Vehicle Unit (IVU) and a small antenna and is 12V/24V ready.

The MAX3000 offers excellent return on investment, in many cases paying for itself within 6-12 months.

The MAX3000 is the latest generation of Maxitrak's In-Vehicle Units and is arguably the most advanced in-vehicle telematics unit available. It has highly efficient power management features to reduce power consumption. It uses innovative real-time exception reporting methods to maximise efficiency and minimise costs. It supports two-way voice and data communications and can be configured to perform very simple or highly complex tasks manually or automatically. It also supports advanced data recording and uses on-board geofencing methods. The unit can be mounted covertly, is simple to install, and does not require on-going maintenance.

The MAX3000 is completely programmable and can be configured for use in a wide range of applications. It is designed to operate in conjunction with Maxitrak's X-FLEET Control Centre but could also be used in integrated systems if required.

	A selection of driver interface devices are available to suit your individual requirements. These range from a simple-to-use panic button to a powerful Mobile Data Terminal (MDT).
	A single antenna mounted inside the vehicle is used with the MAX3000. Other application specific antennas are also available. A hands-free voice kit provides voice communications for the driver.
	A CompactFlash Memory Card is used with the MAX3000 to provide, among other things, extended, comprehensive data logging and storage. Even digital images could be recorded to the CompactFlash Memory Card, something Maxitrak is working on right now! The data on-board the CompactFlash Memory Card is available for local or wireless remote download.
	The MAX3000 even has special installation tools that make installing, testing and configuring the MAX3000 a breeze, reducing installation time and cost.
