Systems usually include a control panel which is the heart of the system, connected to a keypad for access control and programming. Sirens provide an audible alert that a breach has occurred whilst strobes provide a visual alert. Key fobs provide keyless entry and single button system arming and disarming. Detectors and sensors, reed switches and other components provide sensing services. Wireless systems are also available and suit those applications where hard wiring is not economical or appropriate.
